Amazing Little Free Comic

So I was looking around at some of the websites of people who do hand-drawn type, and I came to the site of Jim Stoten, or Jim the Illustrator. If you click on the “book” link, you can see the pages one at a time or download the pdf of this charming and kooky little comic called “The Diamond.” I spend about twenty dollars a month on comics at my local store and I rarely get as much joy out of them as I do from this little thing. It reminds me of the Beatles animated movie yellow submarine and the work of Salvador Dalí. It’s a little sad that I probably won’t be able to attend the annual Small Press Expo this weekend in Bethesda. I might for a little, but it would before a full day of work on Saturday and I think I would regret that.
